Israeli gunners cover their ears as an artillery piece fires into southern Lebanon from a position on the border near Kiryat Shmona, northern Israel, Friday, July 14, 2006.
His tone about W, Rummy, the war plan, etc. definitely shifted noticeably in the last 5-6 months. I feel cheated, I don't like it, and I don't respect him .. if it's as true as we think it is.
The old minesweepers are retired, but there is a whole new class of ships that were built.

Got it, thanks.
Side note: The left likes to point out that Saddam couldn't have been cooperating with Bin Laden as Bin Laden would never work with a securalist.
And yet, here we are with secular Syria and wacko Iran as best military buds.
we even tried siding with him for a while. It kept him quiet but not for long.
Assad got to hear IDF sonic booms from an altitude of about 50 feet off the deck recently.
At that time, I'm sure he knew he was owned.
By now, he's dug in deep somewhere, bet on it.
I'm not buying that.
I'll put it this way...if he is going to be a TV military analyst...the audience should know if he is affiliated with a candidate.
ANY of them should, IMHO.
I had also heard a rumor about Paul Vallely...and I haven't noticed him on Fox lately.

Isn't this what we have snipers for? It would be justified for the damage he has done.

Time for the military to pay his mosque a visit and neutralize the little weasel.
About the mine sweepers??
All I know is what I heard...but, I can't get a source, it was just a segment on TV...more than likely Fox News, since I watch that about 95% of the time.
I sounded dire to me...but, I haven't seen an article or a thread...or even a post by anyone else on it...so maybe I was hearing it wrong..(you all know I have a tendency to do that now and again)...
BUT, now that I posted it...it is nice to see freepers that can tell me it WAS wrong...and we are okay in that respect.

Are Saddam's WMD stockpiles in fellow Baathist's hand in Damascus? Bekaa? It's worrisome to me that this enemy could be in possession of many intermediate range missiles and stockpiles of deadly chemical munitions. There could be a devastating barrage of every possible evil rained down on urban areas. Does anyone else think this could happen? The enemy is ruthless and not bound by ban treaties or so it would seem.

"Not criticizing, but wondering if that's very sensitive information for the 'eyes' out there."
I have considered this. This is pretty basic information, all open source, Iran knows what they have, ditto Syria, and their generals are paid to think up ways to utilize it.
If Iran and Syria were already in this fully, then we would be making significant efforts to darken certain theaters, and at that point, yes, putting all this information together at one point in space would become sensitive information, but only for the unconnected async assets. The big players all have their own databases, with UPS failovers and regular data backup archives.
This is something to think about if the conflict widens however. Even a conglomeration of basic news could be helpful to an enemy who was on short supply of electricity or communications, but we have a long way to go to reach that point.
Thanks for checking.
