A conservative newspaper in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has dropped Ann Coulter's column becoming the first paper to take that action since controversy began swirling around the author of the runaway best seller "Godless, the Church of Liberalism."
Neither recent, now-disproved charges of plagiarism nor her controversial book played any part in the paper's decision, the paper's editorial page editor told NewsMax.com.
....
According to the July 12 edition of Editor & Publisher (E&P), The Gazette in Cedar Rapids, where her column has appeared for about 14 months, has replaced Coulter with NewsMax.com columnist David Limbaugh, a close friend of Coulter's.

The CR Gazette is hardly a conservative paper.
Darn. Poor Iowejians. Gotta read the miquetoast David Limbaugh instead of the hot chili pepper called Ann.
I am sure that we'll soon find out the whys of this.
Does anyone know the details of her alleged plagiarism? Is it something minor, that is being blown up by the MSM?
Miss Ann needs to eat more.
Is this a recent picture?
Some liberal hack professor tried to prove plagiarism. It's utterly bogus.
Hey, it's their loss. Let their circulation tell the consequences. If their customers want their ears tickled, so be it, but if they can stand the truth, it was definitely a poor move.
2005 I think, according to the source. She might eat a lot and just have a fast metabolism.

Get this:
I go into Barnes and Nobles the other day; I ask "where would you have Ann Coulter's Godless?".
The lady huffs and puffs and says "I don't know how that book should be classified - and it even on the best sellers shelf."
I stay quiet thinking to myself.
I picked up the first Godless book; after the women left me at the shelf.
I open it and the first 50 pages of the book are ripped in half.
I LOL!
Ann Coulter is bullet proof.
I figured, as much press as it has gotten, probably not true or severely distorted.
Might have been assaulted if you asked if they had a Bible!!
The libs like to forget the work of Sociologists, prior to the lefty takeover in the 70's, who spoke often about the Religion of State.
Well, considering its chief competitor is probably The Des Moines Register (aka Pravda, the Iowa Edition), ...
As I recall, the Gazette endorsed GWB for President in 2004. I'm sure that makes it "conservative" in some people's minds.
That would be the Daily Iowegian...
My word, her metabolism must be the speed of a rocket!
