Well ...
The words of Zidane's mother bother me more than anything so far on these threads. The way this is going, some Muslim might overreact and blow up a commuter train in London, Spain, India, or maybe the U.S.

CBS saying 'it's a guy thing'? But I thought the metrosexuals avoid such distasteful, caveman behaviors, especially to please their feminazi 'partners' (can't call them 'girl'friends)? You know, women's rights and equality of the sexes and all that. What would Steinem or Sarandon or Babs have to say about that?

CBS is more liberal than the other big networks (at least those not on cable).
Even if the guy was insulted, he still shouldn't have attacked the other guy. islam probably doesn't have a turning the other cheek.

if an American had headbutted an Arab or African, it probably wouldn't have been racially based.
Given Europe largescale Muslim immigration and the fact that Europe is not used to largescale immigration, increases the probability that the italian was being racist.
Still, headbutted and other physical attacks should be stopped (and verbal attacks should be stopped, too, but that would probably be more difficult to enforce).
To: Iscool
he could have also killed the guy, too. While the italian shouldn't have been insulting him (and he shouldn't have been insulting the italian?), there should have been no attack, whether a head butt, a punch, or a kick.
To: Jameison
Why? The italian looked skinnier than the frenchman, and only responded verbally; the frenchman has a record of violence.
To: kodapepper
if there was cheating as part of this incident, the cheating was on the italian's part, baiting a temper-prone frenchman so that he would get taken from the match.

Because the Italian had more sense, and knew what they were there for?
Which was to win the World Cup, which they did?
The whole idea was to trash talk Zidane, and get him to do exactly what he did.
I'll still back the Italian in any real fight with this sucker.

I am beyond sick and tired of the bias of the media.
