Reports coming in about IAF striking Beruit airport, if this is confirmed this is another sizable escalation. I think this article ought to be pinned.

I love Israels response. "If they don't release the two soldiers, we will target their infrastructure and set them back 20 years." (close to an exact quote)
That's how it's done.

Two great minds on the same track. I had just posted on the other thread that they were going to give Baghdad Bob a new assignment.

What is it going to take for the news to get on the ball.
We have a war going on and no coverage.

The world's now at war, count on it. Israel = World ?
I don't think so.

The Israelis must have some suspicion that Syria or Iran is either using or preparing to use that airport.

"I've noticed the targets hit are producing minimal collateral damage. The foreign ministry at night, now the runway."
In the course of following these events, Israel has launched hundreds of air strikes. We're not getting the whole picture. I heard on Fox earlier that Southern Lebanon is cut off from the rest of the country.

Get back to me next year and see if you think the same.

Me too. My stomach keeps lurching. God bless and protect Israel.
Will we step in at some time? That's what I'm waiting for. If egypt or iran sent planes or missles to Israel....God help us all.

Glad I'm not the only one "jonesing" for other coverage...

I was going to go to Beirut a few years back as a standby for a vacation, had to change plans. I could only imagine trying to get out of there now.

I agree, I've had a bad feeling about this since the first soldier was kidnapped, and I don't see it getting better soon.
