..."I urge my friends who complain about the influence of the religious Right, get out there and get busy. That's what they do! Now, if we believe in the Republican party of Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt, the big-tent party, then we have to get out there and show that. The fact is, some of us have sat idly by while those very active people have basically set the agenda for our party. I get attacked every day because I'm working with Ted Kennedy. How can I work with Kennedy? Because I want to get something done!" ...

If McCain is the last man in America, then I have just become a lesbian.

He kind of reminds me of the Dixie Chicks: "Half the people in the US are morons! Especially those Country Music fans! Oh! Hey! Our new CD is coming out! I hope you buy one!"

Obviously McCain is on the LEFT.
He's a godless moron. He's no "man". He's an idiotic wimp that stands for NOTHING and falls for ANYTHING.

Full title (too long for the FR title entry): "John McCain may be the last man in America who most Americans listen to. But has he run out of time to become president?"
To: Unam Sanctam
"can I work with Kennedy? Because I want to get something done!" ...
Oh yeh..like McCain-Feingold bill and heading up the gang of 14 to water down the GOP majority. That's exactly why true conservatives will not support your RINO butt Sen. McCain. We see through your little backstabbing shams and MSM pandering.

Uh-huh. Most of what Ted and McCain do SHOULDN'T be done at all. In their cases, less is more...More American.

I always find myself inundated by Christians constantly forcing their odd point of view on me. Not like the gay/feminist/antigun/global warming left who never proselytize to anyone.
It isn't like leftists go to court and have leftists judges compel decent Americans to listen to their points of view in schools and such. It is just those dang Christians who do that.
I hope the sarcasm came across?

I would think Lincoln & Roosevelt today would probably be considered "rightwing Christians." Heck just about any President would (with the exception of Clinton, Carter). It's all about context, which he ignores.
