Took WAY too long.
The injection is the same as that used to anesthetize a patient for surgery. Anyone on this forum ever had surgery??? Do you remember the anesthetization as "painful?" Anyone???????? Anyone??????
I do not understand all of this garbage about lethal injection "pain". Anyone ever have surgery? They put you under, and that's that. Is it HARD to give someone enough stuff to put them to sleep before the injection? Geesh, they act like this is science or something.
What he and his partners did to those two girls was absolutely dreadful - they horrendously tortured those two girls. He's lucky the state doesn't make the crime pay in equal measure for the pain and fear he caused.
If anyone earned the maximum penalty allowed by law, he and his fellow gangbangers did. They were amazingly cruel.

I've never had a (memorably) painful surgery, thanks to these (and other) drugs being appropriately dosed.
I can't imagine a more pleasant way to shuffle off this mortal coil. You just go to sleep and never wake up....

Midazolam won't induce unconsciousness in small amounts. Propofol will. It has a steep dose/response curve so a couple of gallons would do you in.:-)
While I welcome their executions, Christianity is a religion of forgiveness and redemption. They still have a chance to regain their standing before God. Unfortunately they have irrevocably lost the opportunity to regain their standing among men.

This was a very notorious crime at the time. I remember it well, too.
I understand that and they surely did not practice it. They have forfeited their right to exist in this life and they may have forfeited their souls.
They would appeal on ANY grounds. If the perp's last meal didn't have enough jelly in the donut, they'd file a brief claiming cruelty.
