The injection is the same as that used to anesthetize a patient for surgery. Anyone on this forum ever had surgery??? Do you remember the anesthetization as "painful?" Anyone???????? Anyone??????

Ahhh...propofol...midazolam...ketamine...

I've never had a (memorably) painful surgery, thanks to these (and other) drugs being appropriately dosed.

I can't imagine a more pleasant way to shuffle off this mortal coil. You just go to sleep and never wake up....

Midazolam won't induce unconsciousness in small amounts. Propofol will. It has a steep dose/response curve so a couple of gallons would do you in.:-)
