BOB NOVAK, My Leak Case Testimony: 'I learned Valerie Plame's name from Joe Wilson's entry in 'Who's Who in America'... MORE Published reports that I took the Fifth Amendment, made a plea bargain with the prosecutors or was a prosecutorial target were all untrue... MORE... My primary source has not come forward to identify himself... Bill Harlow, the CIA public information officer who was my CIA source for the column confirming Mrs. Wilson's identity. I learned Valerie Plame's name from Joe Wilson's entry in 'Who's Who in America'... I answered questions using the names of Rove, Harlow and my primary source... I considered his wife's role in initiating Wilson's mission, later confirmed by the Senate Intelligence Committee, to be a previously undisclosed part of an important news story. I reported it on that basis.

According to the group on Chrissy Matthew's show...they think the primary source is Richard Armitage...

Jim VandenHai from the WaPO...said that Armitage has a reputation for being a gossip.

If this is true..it is BAD NEWS for the conspiracy theorists..like Chrissy Matthews...because Armitage is NOT a Bush fan..and was NOT happy with the Iraq War plan...

So...they CAN'T say he was out to get Wilson.

Thanks for setting the record straight. And I agree that Novak will almost certainly NOT reveal his primary source because his primary source has not yet publicly admitted his role. So this isn't as big a story as people are making it, other than the slight embarrassment to Wilson - if he is capable of embarrassment - that Novak learned his wife's name from his own Who's Who entry. But I'm sure the MSM will spin this as CONFIRMING, rather than undermining, the idea of a highly organized conspiracy to "get" Wilson.

While I was in an office today I was reading a magazine that said that 1.5 million people watch Brit Hume every night. I was stunned it was so low, but it was clearly higher than any other news channel.

Look we got 3 sources and a book ok - primary source unknown

If you check the link you will see a post claiming that JOE WILSON is the primary source:

FOX NEWS: Brit Hume said Novak learned of Plame's CIA status from JOE WILSON and then confirmed it in Who's Who!

But that post is locked. And this one is over 350 replies long. So without reading every reply, who really knows?

If true, "the enemy's" web site will have something shortly on the story.

I've never seen a mention, much less a discussion to Valerie Plame's Post Partum Depression being a hindrance, or danger, to the CIA.

I was thinking today, while scrubbing pots...

If I had been working for the CIA and suffered from post-partum depression, would the CIA use me as a covert operative?
