BOB NOVAK, My Leak Case Testimony: 'I learned Valerie Plame's name from Joe Wilson's entry in 'Who's Who in America'... MORE Published reports that I took the Fifth Amendment, made a plea bargain with the prosecutors or was a prosecutorial target were all untrue... MORE... My primary source has not come forward to identify himself... Bill Harlow, the CIA public information officer who was my CIA source for the column confirming Mrs. Wilson's identity. I learned Valerie Plame's name from Joe Wilson's entry in 'Who's Who in America'... I answered questions using the names of Rove, Harlow and my primary source... I considered his wife's role in initiating Wilson's mission, later confirmed by the Senate Intelligence Committee, to be a previously undisclosed part of an important news story. I reported it on that basis.

Okay - this now locked thread told me what I missed from Brit.

Brit Hume said Novak learned of Plame's CIA status from JOE WILSON and then confirmed it in Who's Who! He also got confirmation from a CIA source whose name I did not recognize.

But yes Joe did end up giving away his wife's name by putting it in the Who's who's article and by many other ways such as the Vanity Fair article. So Wilson has nothing to blame but himself.

Was the first appearance in Who's Who while she WAS undercover? Did not Wilson provide information for the entry? Later he writs an op-ed and lies about what he reported forcing the White House to try and correct the record and then claims political persecution?

The primary source was someone else and the name was found and confirmed by Wilson's entry in Who's Who's In America

Correct whihc means that the guy who revealed the identity of Ms Plame was Ms Plames husband. Frog marching Joe. What a dork.
