Breaking...
same thing happen with us during 911. All the phones were jammed.
Indian and Pakistani relations are a very strange bird. Just when it looked like things were going to boil over in a nuclear standoff last year, they made up and decided to pursue peace. Many incidents have occurred since then, but the sparring rhetoric is gone. It seems to me that the Indians and Pakistanis agree that events like this are horrible for both countries, but the tinderbox in Kashmir is so unstable, retaliatory action by either side could devolve into an internal coup in Pakistan, which nobody wants on either side. It's as if both sides have decided that the best bet is to put Kashmir into an isolation tank and build diplomatic relations at the same time. My guess is that neither governments would lose any sleep is Kashmir disappeared from the map.
Visiting or in custody, did they say?
Not in custody. Then they went on and said he was believed to be in Dubai, but there was also another location where he could be, but I didn't catch where it was.
Yes, it's World War III, and I'm afraid that the worst is still yet to come.
Sadly, a lot of people in the world are slow to get it.
They will never arrest Dawood in Dubai the support him. GRRRRR .........
Dubai, playground of the uber-rich.
MSNBC: Correspondent from CNBC in India - police confirm 7 blasts. Raining now and panic in streets. People are jamming into cars and cabs; traffic at standstill.
Sadly, you're right.
Anyone else notice the complete lack of professional first responders at the scene? I haven't seen a single policeman or paramedic from the CNN footage... it's all common people carrying the injured and carting them away in cars and taxis.
How can that be? I thought this was the financial district during rush hour?
MSNBC: India police say 100 dead, 300 wounded. MSNBC Mumbai correspondent saying that local news media is calling for calm, but reporter claims that there is a "panic" in parts of the city.

They do. This is like their recruiting telethon. If they can pull off one major event like this a year, they will consider it a victory, even if they don't hit the U.S. And even though we like to complain about our domestic security apparatus, it's obvious that we've essentially paralyzed Al Qaeda in the U.S. These guys are getting picked off in the "throwing-around-ideas" stage of planning (like the Miami crew) and whether anyone on the left wants to admit it, Gitmo has become synonymous with a "black hole" among the jihadis.
Fox just stated that Indian officals had advance knowlege of pending attack, just not time and location.
