Had Jeb not been cheated out of his first election as Governor of Florida it is likely he (not W) would be enjoying his second term as President of these United States.

For Jeb to run on a McCain ticket, McCain would have to win the primary nomination.

I don't see that happening.

The real Republican candidates should start testing the waters after the midterm elections, but I don't think McCain will be one of the frontrunner's once we approach the primaries.

You need to search some Florida newspapers and learn about the crime and corruption swirling around a number of Jeb's high level appointments. He has deny-ability for now, but the fuse is trailing in his direction, and and the dirt diggers in a major campaign could possibly unearth some shockers.

"McCain-Bush Ticket..."

Over my dead body will this RINO miscreant park his sorry carcass in the White House!

I have already registered my German Shepherd and two goldfish as Independents!

And I am heading to Chicago ASAP to check tombstones!

Admiral Jack McCain must be turning in his grave over his sorry-ass pandering offspring. My God, I had no Idea I despised this bum to the degree I do.

And, if the truth be known, Jeb is somewhat of an empty suit, IMO. I have never really seen him take a truly hard line on anything. I may be a bit hard on the guy, but I sense a pol's pol here. Hope I am wrong. *S*

No, it wouldn't.

There is no one that makes McCain palatable to me.

We've all been over this before. Conservatives/Republicans in every forum, every blog, every radio show, every cable show...at dinner parties, at the supermarket...wherever. The result is always the same and yet they keep forcing this drivel down our throat.

McCain as the nominee and enough people stay home to throw the election. All you need is 2-3% to turn up their noses and Republicans lose.

And, btw, Jeb saying McCain is a good man makes me physically ill. Hooking up with Mccain just decreases his stock further. Just as Newt hooking up with Hillary hurt him at the time he did it.

Cheney hooking up with Bush DID help him, but people didn't hate G.W.B. They doubted his conservatismand Cheney made them feel more secure....but they didn't have an extremely adverse reaction to his name and have their blood temp rise. A more "conservative" candidate can help strengthen a candidate perceived as weak in that arena, but cannot overcome personality.

In short, Conservatives hate McCain. With solid reason. And he hates them. NO ONE, not even Rush Limbaugh, could salvage that man on a ticket.
