THE ARTICLE IS NOT CLEAR THAT THE ILLEGALS INITIATED THE CONFRONTATION WITH THE POLICE, ALL THE ARTICLE SAYS IS THAT THE ILLEGALS TRIED TO STORM INTO THE DEMONSTRATION AND THE POLICE HELD THEM BACK..
