Well, sounds like another opportunity for lawyers to get rich on the court fees.
Kansas doesn't need these creationist carpetbaggers from Seattle to campaign there. They've apparently got enough goofballs of their own.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'd hate for PUBLIC SCHOOLS to teach intelligent design...or anything else intelligent, for that matter.

"A Seattle-based research group that advocates intelligent design said today it will campaign to educate Kansans "
God did it, evolution bad.
Every bit as sound as the boobs on the Board of Education that pushed them through.
We have the Republican primary coming up in a couple of weeks. I know some of the ID Republicans on the board have challengers. It'll be interesting to see what happens.
The drama queens are out.
Let's call this "master force" what it is: i.e, plain old ordinary intelligence. We see evidence of this "master" force designing skyscrapers, space shuttles, dog and cattle breeds, and even bacteria (e coli made to produce human insulin, for example) every day.
In fact this "master force" is even good at whipping up prejudice to protect atheism in the classrooms of America.
West said the group will start an information campaign over the Internet immediately and possibly start a radio campaign. He declined to say how much the center would spend.
The Kansas State Board of Education should look at the DI's behavior in the Dover, PA case....which was along the lines of this..."We're with you all the way, unless it looks like we might lose, then you're on your own."
I think the conservatives will be ousted again this year resulting in the standards changing, but once a few years pass, they will get put in place again.
It is a never-ending battle between both sides.
I've not considered their arguments to be so specific and positive. What they say is that there is enough detail in the organization and function of cellular life to merit the suggestion that intelligent design might be responsible for the same. If one wishes to charge those who espouse this idea with wanting to introduce sectarianism into science classes, then he had best be ready to wear the shoe when accused of using evolution to establish the religion of atheists, communists, and all others who use politicize science for their own purposes.
