It's experience that matters, and the younger you start driving the better. It's INSANE how they keep raising the driving age - that will only make things worse.

Or no one should ever start driving. Nasty habit, really. Starting earlier puts even LESS responsible people on the road. Starting later, even if it did nothing for the learning curve, at least means FEWER people driving. Raising the driving age to 40 would cut traffic by half, or more since by then why bother?

Is there any posting in MySpace that isn't total Bravo Sierra?

Income: $100,000 to $150,000
Yea, right.

I guess thats a good thing, considering what she is about to spend on lawyers while trying to avoid prison.

"Perhaps you're looking for the wrong group to demonize here."

No, she could have been an illegal AND talking on her cell phone.

Both illegals and cell phone talkers (while driving) have higher accident rates. The crime rates for illegals are much higher than native citizens.

I don't like either of them.

Thatis exactly why I asked about legality. I couldn't care less what race she is but if she was illegal, it makes a difference. Also, it makes a difference that she is a teenager in my book.

When you look at the stats for teens there is a compelling case for some restrictions.

So now we can tell who is illegal based on their name?

So now we are not allowed educated guesses?

I dislike illegal aliens as much as anyone (thats right - DISLIKE)But I do not see how linking this accident to one buttrusses the anti illegal alien case.

I think I got the gist of your post. You extended a threat on behalf of the Tongans, because it makes you feel tough without you having to back it up. Now, you are trying to call us stupid, even though we probably have you figured out. Have fun reminding everyone you are a Marine with every post. Hope it boosts your ego.

Still got your brain housing group in a dark orifice - huh?
Things will NOT get better until you pull it out and breath some fresh air....

Still can't read either, can you bunky?
I didn't pass on a threat....I passed on some informed advice....

Also noticed your user name is appropriate..

Yes, in fact I am an elderly former Marine, and certainly make no attempt to hide it..
It would probably shock you to learn just how many of us are in this forum..
Does it threaten you or disturb you to know there are men in world destroying people and things - so pukes like you can express your feeble opinions and insults?

The "Semper Fi" has nothing to do with ego....it's a salutation to those in the forum who know the oath we took to defend the Nation and Constitution against all enemy - foreign or domestic -- didn't expire upon discharge... Always Faithful....

I suspect that's an alien concept to folks like you...

Now, go away little girl -- you're tiresome.

The older I get the more I think the driving age should be higher.

30 sounds about right.

Hell, I'd be happy if they just kept the drunks, illegals, scofflaws and uninsured off the streets.....

According to Jesse HiJackson, Al "pimp" Sharpton, Louis "Mothership Calypso" Farrakhan and similar poverty pimps along with their followers and worshipers -- I am...

I should say, however -- I am an unapologetic, guiltless white man who has successfully thrown off the white man's burden - and they will simply have to learn to deal with that disturbing fact..

Edith Delgado pleads not guilty to manslaughter, speeding Email this article

08 Jul 2006, 18:10

Redwood City, California: _

THE teenage driver charged with the killing of two members of the Tongan royal family and their driver after slamming into their car pleaded not guilty on Friday, July 7 (US time) to vehicular manslaughter, according to AP news service.

Edith Delgado, 18, of Redwood City, was held in lieu of $US3 million bail after her arraignment in San Mateo County Superior Court on manslaughter and speeding charges.

Delgado, who received her driver's license in February, was charged with killing Prince Tu'ipelehake, 56 and Princess Kaimana, 46, in the Wednesday night crash on Highway 101 in Menlo Park, about 30 miles (50 kilometers) south of San Francisco.

Vinisia Hefa, 36, of East Palo Alto, who was driving the red Ford Explorer carrying the prince and princess, was also killed, authorities said.

If convicted of the manslaughter counts, Delgado faces up to eight years in prison, a prosecutor said. Delgado was driving her Ford Mustang as fast as 100 mph (160 kph) while racing another vehicle when she crashed into the driver's side of Hefa's car, causing it to swerve across several lanes before rolling on its roof, said California Highway Patrol Officer Ricky Franklin. Delgado was not injured in the crash.

You are similar to some air force veteran that I dealt with a while ago. You see, I have also served in the military. I don't try to advertise it, but since you have some sort of false sense of superiority due to being a vet, I'll bring it out now.

I didn't pass on a threat....I passed on some informed advice....

Really? I doubt the girl or her parents are reading this forum. You sounded very similar to people who like rooting for the winning team. You do not do anything yourself, but you gloat when things go your way. I doubt that the Tongan's will do anything to the girl or her family. I have met many myself (girlfriend in college), and in my experience, if the law is just, they do not do anything to top it. Most likely, this girl will be charged with vehicular manslaughter and will be incarcerated. The Tongans will be satisfied, and her family will not be harmed.

As for the term bunky: I am not familiar with this term, perhaps you could explain it. However, my opinion of you has not grown through your use of it. I believe that your words, as Shakespeare once said (although, I am not sure if you have read Shakespeare, although this is your native langauge), "It is a tale, Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing."

I don't know about that. He's always about risky behavior (in the negative, rather than positive sense). I would not be surprised if he ends up much like the late Vice-President Nelson Rockefeller, who died in a hotel room in NYC with a hooker.

Maybe. He may have been worse as a teenager.
At any rate, I suspect he is atypical.

I am saddened to hear about the Prince and his wife. I had just recently heard about the health benefits that the Tongan people enjoy.

It is a very interesting story --- http://www.RealLimu.OriginalLimu.com/
