Wiester said he made the trip from Minneapolis because he never went out of his way over the years to meet or avoid people like him.

Now he has the chance.

"I decided this was important for me. This was a way of validating that experience."

Wiester hopes that his experience here can answer at least one question for him.

"The question is why are we dishonoured still in American society?"

How charming. Still can't figure out why they are so "dishonored", ey? No doubt that puzzlement will be replaced by the warm fuzzies at the gathering of all those like-minded sorts.

As a Viet Vet, I hope they rot in hell, right along side Jimmy Carter and Bill Klinton.

"The question is why are we dishonoured still in American society?"

If you have to ask, you obviously lack the capacity to understand the simple answer.

Because you're a worthless POS that's not deserving of the least bit of respect. Simple enough for you? May you and Hanoi Jane rot in Hell as you so richly deserve.

Let's see, if things go as they should, Bill will make the keynote speech and Kerry will be grandfathered in.

Maybe John F Kerry can be the keynote speaker.

Beacause most Americans don't honor "Law-Breakers".

All they had to do was come home under the Carter Presidency. He would have a guaranteed civil service job waiting on them if they did. However during this same period, Carter took away your veterans preference if you had over two years of college. Don't believe me, check it out.

No problem. I get a kick out of people thinking pretty much the same thing when subjects like this come up. We're all on the same page on this topic.

I remember and it stunk. And soldiers weren't allowed to wear their uniforms to duty in the D.C. Metro area.

Somehow, this made me think of Wallace's quote in Braveheart: "Aye, fight and you may die, run, and you'll live, at least for awhile. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing, to take all the days from this day till then, to come back here and tell our enemies, they may take our lives, but they'll never take our freedom!"

These cowards are now wallowing in their guilt, and I feel nothing for them but disgust.
