Biden Say What? A Biden Moment, as it were.
In thanking a young Indian-American man for the support of his Indian-American group, Sen. Biden touts how Indians are the fastest growing immigrant group in Delaware and says, "You CANNOT go into a 7-11 or a Dunkin Donuts without an Indian accent."

And last week Biden said that instead of running for president, which he announced he plans to do, he "rather be home making love with his wife after his kids are asleep."

They get five or ten of their relatives, pool their money and all of a sudden, they have a motel franchise. Precisely. That's how there came to be so many Korean liquor stores in LA as well. Pool your cash and put a whole lot of sweat equity into the project and all of a sudden you're a success, and you have seed money for the next project. Good for them.

Biden is a fool, and is capable of saying some ridiculous things...
He's hilarious,.......until one realizes that this ignorant and vain sonuvabitch is a U.S. SENATOR...and has a lot of company from equally ignorant and vain shitheads in Congress.
That alone should be enough to scare the hell out of thinking people...

Look up the word "blowhard" in the dictionary and you'll see a picture of Joe Biden.

I found out about this tax subsidy thing a couple of years ago, and I wanted to blow a gasket! I was told they didn't have to pay any taxes for 7 years, and when that 7 years was up, they would simply "sell" the business to cousin so and so, and then on down the line, supporting the family on my tax dollars. Just like welfare.

Thats about right. I'm sick of the arrogance these "public servants" display. Just about all of them are made of sh*t!

So Biden continues his plagiarist ways...only he hasn't learned that it's not always good to plagiarize one-liners from skits written by SNL writers.

What's funny is that it's offensive whether you take it the way Wonkette cited him, or if you look at the actual clip itself.

I was told they didn't have to pay any taxes for 7 years, and when that 7 years was up, they would simply "sell" the business to cousin so and so, and then on down the line, supporting the family on my tax dollars. Just like welfare. Many businesses would like to pay no taxes on their profits...unfortunately, Mom & Pop don't get such advantages.

What Biden said is, for the most part, entirely true in this area.
Did something thing it was a joke, or what?!

That's a thought ~ why did he single out 7/11.
The pathology units in virtually every hospital in America are manned (and womaned) by Hindus and Jains, and that has something to do with willingness to take great risks, combined with a certain religious point of view. Western railroads in the 1800s used to be engineered exclusively by Japanese immigrants who were the only people on Earth to not fear taking a multi-ton train over a rickety wooden bridge built by underfed, illused Chinese laborers years before.
I suppose, maybe, 7/11 is a high risk job. Just about every multiple murder we've had out near Springfield the last 30 years has occurred at a convenience or fast food store.
