What makes me most angry is that the state's residents are suffering at the hands of the people we elected to officeThen DO something about it. Jeez, it's not like you weren't told about these tax & spend rats. And, what did ya do????? You put them in office...AGAIN.
You made your bed, now deal with it.

Like they had no clue what kind of people they were voting for. People generally get the government they deserve.

Well that's what you get when you vote a gay guy, that is married with children, then cruises the highways for bowjobs from men, as governor.
Then follow it up by voting in another corrupt RAT as governor.
Hope NJ people are enjoying the comfy bed they made for themslves.

Forget political party lines.Translation: The Republicans aren't at fault so we can't blame them so just pay no attention to the party in power.

The voters of NJ elected a liberal and socialist tax and spend governor and now wonder what is going on?

Like myself, a NYer....I feel sorry for the conservatives who live there.
that being said...the majority...the jackalopes, who voted into office, this criminal group of Governor, assembly and state senate...in the words of folks from my old Bronx neighborhood. "Youse guys got what youse deserved"

New Jersey.... What a messed up state. Run by a liberal corporate executive who doesn't know his head from his @$$. New Jersey is a liberal paradise. They have everything. Gun control, harsh traffic enforcement by state troopers, high taxes soon to be higher, micromanagement of businesses with harsh regulations, high crime and rights for criminals, only the elite (as in politicians and corporate executives) can enjoy the good life.
New Jersey can be held up as the example for all to see and a lesson of where not to go.

Actually, I read this as an attempt to blame the Republicans as much as is possible for a process they have nothing to do with. At least if they are held guilty by association the Democratic machine can put a new hand puppet in the legislature and keep control.
shameful. What I wouldn't give for a little honest reporting on this issue.

Yes, Garden State residents' morale is at an all-time low. This is what shutting down the government has done to us. Funny, my morale would be at an all-time high.

So New Jersey residents morale is low! Well pity-poo! They voted for those crooks when they should have known better, but hey, just like New York, if a moldy, rotten, ham sandwich is run on the Socialist-RAT ticket, it will be elected!
What a bunch of Maroons!

I celebrated the closing of the NJ state government yesterday with a "screw you Comrade Corzine" group mountain bike ride in one of the closed state parks.
What a joke NJ have become.

Yes, Garden State residents' morale is at an all-time low. This is what shutting down the government has done to us. Priceless! On a personal level, the situation in NJ would be akin to your making very poor choices with spending your money, going bankrupt, and rather than turning over a new leaf and becoming fiscally responsible, you just worry about what your neighbors are saying. How narcissistic.

Excerpt:
More than 4,000 votes (4,755) were cast under the names of dead New Jerseyans in last November's election, and nearly 11,000 more people appear to have voted twice, according to state Republicans who say they fear election fraud when voters choose a new governor.
Saying they first raised these issues with state officials in May, Republican State Committee leaders blasted state Attorney General Peter C. Harvey Thursday for "ignoring warnings" and demanded he address their concerns within a week or face a lawsuit.
"I know this is going to be a close election, and I'm deeply concerned about the process," said Republican State Committee Chairman Tom Wilson. "If you believe that there isn't voter fraud going on, you probably also believe in Martians."
