A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

Beautiful, Dolly! How sweet and how tiny that fawn is! Interesting that the horses are paying no attention to it at all. :) Pretty horses, too! Can't tell if that one is a solid color (sorrel) or if it's a bit of a strawberry roan. Pretty though!

Thoroughbred field trial bloodline goldens from Topbrass and Frisbee bloodlines. Wonderful dogs, except Hunter is an escape artist par excellence...

Well..they are lovely and Golden's are a wonderful breed. Plus we can relate to escape artist. We "adopted" Rusty via FreeRepublic from an LA shelter 2 years ago...Rodesian Ridgeback. He thinks he's a lapdog in a 65 lb solid body BUT has "issues" and has gone through atleast 8 screens, destroy more fences but is the biggest loving "LUG" I've ever had. God bless our furry friends :o)

Happy Birthday President Bush :-)

Billie made this wonderful graphic, with my pup Lucy in it, I love it! Thank You, Billie. Dubya is 'petting' Lucy, dutchess's pup Giz is on the right.

Prayers for our dear Freeper Friend, Ladyx.

Hi Dutchess.

I didn't get a post made this morning because I was looking for a President Bush picture.

Thanks for today's thread. PrissyMissy loves the Pet Threads and the Warm Fuzzy Threads. She always wants to know everything about every picture.

Exactly...Good goldens are wonderful, loving and great to have even if they drive us crazy from time to time!

I don't think Hunter or Amber ever saw a person they didn't like...but Amber does not like other dogs. She will do things to get other dogs in trouble, like sit quietly by the fence, just looking until the neighbor's dog gets all wound up.

She's getting to be an old lady, too...Around 13. Velvet's 12, and Hunter is 7.

Where

My two babies when they were both younger...

Speaking of wonderful dogs, I watched this movie last night. The acting from the "humans" could have been a bit better and the humor was a little silly in places (after all, it is a Disney movie), but it didn't matter one bit because the scenery was breathtaking and these gorgeous, intelligent dogs stole the show. It's a great family movie along the lines of Old Yeller and Homeward Bound - The Incredible Journey.

Knowing the basic story, I was sure I would cry all the way through it, but I didn't. I will admit that I could not hold back the tears at the end though.
