>>>Marvin Zindler praised Ken Lay for his charitable contributions from the pre-Enron collapse days.
How interesting. I wonder if that was HIS money he was being so charitable with? Or, was it Enron's stockholders.

I feel very bad for his family. They have all been through hell. RIP.

CNN remarking that Ken Lay became so famous that he met with Presidents.........President Bush.
No mention at all of Lay's connections to slick willie, dizzy tizzy heinz, and an assortment of other very important people.

And that after Enron spent billions of dollars in India, they refused to accept the project and left Ken Lay with all the bills.
Same old story, the klinton's are like a tornado tearing thru your life.

I'm jealous too!
I'm mad at him for stealing the Retirements of thousands of people, just like I'm pissed at the Senate and Congress for stealing our Social Security Money.
Are you just as pissed at John Kerry?
I am, John Kerry is by far a more despicable human (as well as Ted Kennedy)

Too bad. I would have liked to see him face the embarassment of prison for all of the lives he help to ruin financially.

This might not be unusual. My brother at age 42 had a heart attack which incapacitated him ... then had a massive one minutes later which killed him. So maybe this is the norm for some heart attacks. The coroner probably found scar tissue on the heart which would indicate a heart attack some time ago.

Actually, this is the first thing I thought when I heard that he had died. HE was faciing a pretty dramatic change in life style, so I can totally see why he qould quit all medications.
One of the sins that cries out to Heaven for vengence is defrauding the worker his just wages. IMO that is exactly what happen with the Enron pensions and stock. That guy has a lot a treasure stored here on earth....

opinions differ.
truth is fact. There is no forgiveness in Karma... thus, it is better left for the reptiles since even rats feel some form of guilt.

yah.
sure.
The BFEE obviously bought the Coroner, to cover up the fact that Cheney ordered Lay's execution because he was demanding an immediate Presidential Pardon, or he would spill his guts about all of those shady real estate investments in Saudi Arabia for the Poppy's retreat, and all of that Enron retirement money that Lay filtered through Halliburton...
I saw it on DU so it must be true...

"Ken Lay will not spend one day behind bars for his crimes...." And he won't. Which means I owe a friend of mine a steak dinner.
Next time I am wording the bet a little more carefully.

A bit off topic - I posted on another site that Enron's downfall began when Lay partnered with slickmeister in 90's to do the large project in India. After investing >$1B, India chose not to share in the project and Enron was left holding the bag and never recovered financially. The rest is history.
Within a minute of my post, it was deleted. I guess rats just don't want to know the truth but rather live in their own little socialist cocoon.
