This is but one of the many stories of today's unsung heroes serving our nation in Iraq.

I got halfway through the article and didn't see anything about America being evil so I lost interest and turned on American Idol.

Great article, especially today; Happy Independence Day to all, and especially to our courageous military - heroes, all of them.

Happy Declaration Day!

Thank you for bringing to my attention, Captain Brian Chontosh's heroic feats. It is awe-inspiring. It is comforting that this country is blessed with such men. Being a civilian's civilian, most of these important Military moments pass me by. Godspeed to Captain Chontosh, his family and his Military family.

"When he was done Brian Chontosh had cleared 200 yards of entrenched Iraqis from his platoon's flank. He had killed more than 20 and wounded at least as many more."
"But that's probably not how he would tell it. He would probably merely say that his Marines were in trouble, and he got them out of trouble. Ooh-rah, and drive on."
"We're going to turn out all right As long as men like Brian Chontosh wear our uniform."

Just in case you missed this, there is a former Hollywood executive who sold everything to be with the Marines for seven months in Iraq. He's making a 20hr documentary depicting the Marines and the untruthful antics of MSM. It is a wonderful read. I hope you enjoy the post, but it is excellent. Happy 4TH
