To show continued gratitude to all Freepers who value the constitution and who are actively engaged in preserving it...either through service to their country, dialog with their friends, relatives and neighbors, online activism, protesting against foerign and domestic enemies of our constitution and way of life, corresponding with legislators and other elected or appointed officials, and just to say thanks to all of those on FreeRepublic who have encouraged and helped me in my own activities...I am extending my free ebook download offer at:
for my following two published books:
THE STAND AT KLAMATH FALLS
This is the story of how rural western farmers and their supporters stood up against entrenched environmentalists, liberal politicians, appointed federal judges, and agencies of the federal government
and prevailed. It is the story of farmers in the Klamath Basin and those who supported them in their struggle to reclaim their water rights in Oregon and California the summer of 2001. It is a story of intolerable conditions that could not be allowed to stand
and those conditions did not stand. It is a story told through eye-witness accounts, narratives, and pictures. This author was humbled to stand with those patriotic, God-fearing Americans defending their God-given, unalienable rights against a federal bureaucracy gone amuck. Its a story of how a rabid environmental lobby, federal judges, and politicians willfully perverted our system to deprive citizens of their water and property rights. In so doing, those citizens were in danger of losing their livelihoods and their way of life. May this inspiring story of American faith, courage, and determination serve as a beacon for all those who read it. May it also serve as a model for others in defending their own rights whenever this specter rears its ugly head.
THE DRAGON'S FURY SERIES
Journey into a possible future - a future where Islamic terrorists have sharpened their horrific skills & allied with Red China. Pressed into an escalating war of two major theaters, can the U.S. & Western Civilization survive? The Dragons Fury series of five novels projects a future arising out of current events where: Implacable enemies of America develop their own high-technology capabilities; America's unsecured southern border allows thousands of terrorists to infiltrate; The New Economy of off-shore manufacturing and outsourcing severely curtails domestic production while bolstering future enemies; Citizens' constitutional rights are eroded in an effort to ensure domestic security; and where three generations of Americans never challenged for survival, must fight with their own weapons for their very existence. Come on this journey. Can America find the will, strength & faith to prevail in a worldwide conflagration? Find out in the Dragons Fury Series, written by engineering consultant, Jeff Head. If you have pondered issues like these & if you enjoy an exciting thriller, you owe it to yourself to read the best selling Dragons Fury Series

I do ask that if you read either or both of these books and enjoy them and the messages they communicate, to please consider adding the printed versions to your libraries. Either way, I hope all my friends on FR will enjoy reading these books.
You are very welcome! Have a great 4th!
Thank you my friend...and the same to you and yours on this 230th anniversary of our independence!
...oops. Was just reading back. It's the 230th anniversary! Sorry for the fat fumble fingered typo!
Thanks Jeff!
I just finished reading my Dragon's Fury Hardback Collector's Edition, and it was excellent! It's nice to know that a quality, exciting, and informational story can be told without resorting to foul language, etc. Definitely a page-turner, and definitely worth reading more than once; and unfortunately, almost totally believable. The only part I found to be a bit of a stretch was asteroid-related (don't want to give anything away for those who haven't read it yet), but that's only given the time-frame. Hopefully you are privy to some super-secret information that the rest of us aren't. :-)
I would recommend the series to anyone, and would like to be on your ping list.
Thanks, keep up the good work, and Happy 4th of July to you and yours!
Thanks Jeff
Admittedly the expedition you mentioned is somewhat far-fetched and the most Sci-fi portion of the series...but is well within our technological capability if we committed ourselves to it in such times...ala the mission to the moon in the 60's.
Again, thanks and have a great 4th of July! Please ping me should you decide to post the review here on FR!...and I will add your name to my ping list as well.
You are welcome. Hope you get the chance to read the books, if you haven't already. I know you will enjoy them. See post 24 on this thread fro a review by Freeper r2167.
I get kicked off at about 3MB... this old dialup can't do it in one gulp =o)
Thanks, Jeff! They are on the hard drive waiting for me.
ping for later.
You're very welcome; not much of a "review" but the comments are well-deserved by you and the series. I will consider writing up a separate review-thread. I'm a long-time lurker, but just recently registered, so don't have the hang of the posting thing yet. :-) I would want to take the time to write up something a bit more detailed, and will probably re-read the series before I do it. :-)
Your comment about the expedition made me realize that it's not our technological cabibility I doubt, but our committment. I grew up with the space program, and I still do believe anything is possible if we have the will, and God allows it.
Thanks for adding me to your list!
Thanks Jeff, much appreciated!
yrp... I bet its a great series...
Thanks Jeff Head!
Thank you very much!
Thanks, Jeff... I'll definitely visit your site for a download or two.
FYI. Sorry for any duplicates for people who have already posted on this thread, but I wanted my entire ping list to see this.
Somehow I got to your pictures of the camp in the snow, made me cold just to look at it I sure am glad I live in Florida and do not have to face that however there are a couple of scouts in our troop that may be emailing you. Thanks for the book download.
