King George of America, this letter is for you

When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands that connected them with another, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

The history of the present King George of America is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States.

To prove this, let Facts about the excesses of King George of America be submitted to a candid world:

s He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good. By use of a device called the "signing statement," he has placed himself above more than 750 laws enacted since he became king, including the anti-torture law passed by Congress to correct a most grievous wrong.

Torture so horrific and brazen it not be ought uttered in polite company: panties on the head.

The torture you would target if you could, is how he has driven the left to suffer endless paroxysms of pain by refusing to act like a defeated president.

He has desecrated our Constitution's Bill of Rights - our most sacred freedoms - by attempting to subvert that document's purpose and instead use it to limit rights through amendments that would ban marriage for certain of our Citizens

There you have it. Our Founders fought and bled for gay marriage. How could I have been so wrong?

Now, how much do you want to bet that this twit is for gun control if I do a Google Search? So much for her concern about the actual meaning of the Bill of Rights.

This stuff is garbage (actually a 4-letter 's' word comes to mind but I have to keep it clean).

They have a right to their opinion, but that's all it is. When someone writes this kind of thing without so much as backing it up with fact, it's like 'ok, so what's your point?' Maybe what they really need to admit is that lefties are utterly afraid that they will be spied on. I wonder what it is, exactly, they are afraid of being found out.

I will assume this is not satire; that this represents your true feelings relative to the leadership of this nation. If I felt as you do, that is that an absolute Tyranny is the President's goal, I would waste no time in getting me and my family to another country on the double.

You fail to understate the seriousness of the threat against us. In reality, the President has acted with great restraint. It is unfortunate that political enemies have turned the security of this nation into "gotcha opportunities." Rest assured that there is a clearly defined plan to conclude this effort in Iraq. Also, rest assured that the vast majority of the Iraqi people are grateful for our presence there.

The President is doing exactly what he said we would to in his speech to the joint session of Congress in the wake of 9/11 (to repeated ovations from both sides of the aisle); to paraphrase, "We're going to find them, get them running and kill them."

I thank God for our leaders' determination and resolve to stand against this evil. It indeed must be confronted and destroyed there, lest we find our own cities ablaze and worse.
