FNC has included so many liberals into their lineup that people are not only looking for other shows but changing their viewing habits.David Gergen *click* Marvin Kalb *click* Susan Estrich *click* Neal Gabler *click* Ellis Hennican *click*

Also Alan Colmes is so pityful with his moonbat responses that he is infuriating. he really destroys the show and Hannity hasn't figured it out yet.

I have seen him a few times; he looks scared (as he rightly should). It will be jail time for him around the corner, as I'm certain he will refuse to reveal his sources to a grand jury....snicker, snicker. Those who protect those who broke the laws are breaking the law.

I laughed too. I didn't know Ceci could speak Spanish, or the Mexican derivation. She would not pick who's ahead which means the conservative candidate probably is winning.

Actually I very much doubt that the casino's will be shut down. If it is I suspect that the deer hunters in South Jersey will be finding a lot more skeletons in the Pine Barrens than normal this winter. Not to mention a badly head-wounded member of the Russian mob running around out there and Paulie Walnuts' shoe. :o)

IMHO I think you probably right regarding the viewing figures.
Many people are turned off by yet another "breaking news" from Aruba or the cruise murder when there is no actual new news.
It also breaks over 3 programs each night each pretending their is new news.
I therefore suspect the same as you, people will watch it on either, O Reily, H & C or Greta but many not all 3. I have to admit I am a junkie to all 3. :0)

And I had to look up Newton Minnow to know that he is the one that called TV "the vast wasteland" in a speech in 1961. if you'd been the contestant on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" rerun the other night, you could have picked up $250K.

One thing that does annoy me about FNC is that just as a guest is getting interesting they are "up against a had break".
Being British I am not used to that we would extend the segment and then probably do the next one shorter or have less adverts and give the advertiser another free advert later.

The dumb asses at the NYT think this doesn't matter but it does You are begin all to charitable Peach.
My guess is they know it matters and are just trying to COA but not really doing too good a job, since it's a format they usually don't engage in.
NYT SOP is to put out the news (their version of it at least) and then proclaim it as the incontrovertible truth. Anyone who dares complain is instantly demagogued or worse.
They are having a bit of a problem adjusting to actually playing defense, but they better get used to it.

IMHO even though I disagree with about 95% of what he says Colmes I think makes the show otherwise you would get Hannity rants all the time and he would get more and more extreme.
I appreciate Hannity support of many Conservative and Republican issues especially when he decides he will defend the President but he can more than ocassionally be knee jerk and go off on one.

I'm sure the numbers are reflecting this "click" as well which is why Roger Ailes was reported as being unhappy with their ratings. FNC had a solid audience until they started believing the MSM criticisms and brought more liberals on board.

I'm watching the FNC afternoon show with Brian Williams as the show (can't remember the name of it). He had two guests on to discuss the NYTimes and the USSC decision; both guests agreed that this is a gift to Bush. The pubbies will be able to campaign on the need for conservatives on the court (their granting geneva convention rights to the terrorists is so over the top)and republican strength on the WOT. The poor democrat admitted all of this while shaking his head as if disgusted that the USSC, in thinking they were hurting Bush, really helped him. Bush will get mileage out of this big time, and the NYTimes story will continue to backfire on the media. After reading the take over on the corner on today's MTP round table, I see more disgust from america at the arrogance and ignorance of the america hating old media talking head leftist scumbag clymers.
