I like the judges sentence in this case although he should also put the mother in prison for bringing a convicted child pornographer into her house. And while we are at it we should put the defense attorney in jail.
Sad part is the guy could actually get out after 68 years.

The girls mother, Rebecca Linton, met Witt while she was a secretary at an Oklahoma prison where he was serving time. Hard to imagine he would do anything like this....

She is in prison.
The girls mother, Rebecca Linton, met Witt while she was a secretary at an Oklahoma prison where he was serving time. She is serving a seven-year federal prison term for aiding and abetting the production of child pornography.

I feel sorry for Donnie because Donnie is just kind of a low-level criminal, and, unfortunately, he fell in love with a girl and didnt have enough sense to say, Hey, she is too young, Hunt said.
This guys statement is worse than any I have heard...even the worst democrat. Does anyone else see how insane this statement is for a lawyer to say.

How many states do not have the three strikes law?(obviously at least one too many)
This defense attorney is really stretching it by saying that the perp didn't have enough sense to say "she's too young" considering the perp is a 48 y/o man!

A seven-time convicted felon who sexually abused his girlfriends 13-year-old daughter...What is this sick pervert doing running around loose and alive?
The mother has to be a nitwit and should be thrown in the slammer as well!

And while we are at it we should put the defense attorney in jail. The defense attorney is only doing his job -defending the undefendable.

I agree this is a tragic case and the guilty deserve to rot in prison. I fail to see why we should put the defence attorney in jail. The attorney may be defending a malicious criminal, but by doing so he is also defending our constitution.

I really doubt the guy will be pursuing his life of crime if he's out in 68 years, making him at least 89 by that time.

This is a case where 3 ropes are needed! One for Witt! One for the mother of the child! And one for the stupid excuse of a defense attorney!

He'll have to live to 116 to get out in 68 years.
He got a life sentence.

Regarding Witt(less)
Witt testified Thursday he saw nothing wrong with the sexual relationship he had with the girl.
He told jurors he had grown up in an abusive household and had been sexually abused as a child.
He said he isnt crazy, but has three personalities: A woman, a street-wise man, and Donnie Witt.

Next time I work at a prison, try to remember that it might not be such a good idea to date the inmates.

Soon, people like this will be a protected "victim group" recognized by the ACLU and DNC. I'm not kidding. Homosexuals who want the right to have underage boys have found ACLU protection in court.
What's this country coming to?
