Sleep tight tonight. Your Air Force is awake.
Yeah...but their on the golf course....
:^)
I was stationed at NCMC in 1971 just back from overseas. They made a bid deal about the double set of blast doors never both being opened at the same time. I rode the bus down the tunnel one morning and the first door was opened, proceeded a little farther and the SECOND door was also opened. Seems that a contractor building something inside had it in their contract that BOTH doors had to be open to keep the schedule.....Never thought much of being buried under a gazillion tons of rock if the 'balloon went up.'
Well, I dunno about that. To my way of thinking...any branch of the military which states Peace is our Profession has got to have some.....ummmm..... issues! When I was an army officer, we'd hear that and snicker....Peace may be your profession....but ours is WAR.
WAR is actually an acronym:
We
Are
Ready.
"Wha-what?" (Rolls over and looks at alarm clock...rubs eyes)
