Is Angelides the guy who came here to clean your toilets or is that some other rat?

Polls are still polls.

Be wary of them.

You know what's sad about this? Schwarzenegger would still be ahead or by more if he had held to conservative principles.

I think anybody who looks at the sad state of affairs under Grey Davis, and what a noticably improved condition CA is in under Gov Schwarzenegger..should admit he deserves another term.

false and phony polls..if I recall when Arnold won the recall..the "polls" had him down..yet he garnered more votes than gray davis to stay in office..which he was not compelled to do..so..just biased polls to me..

Schwarzenneger will get it. Angelides can't help himself: He's bound to stick his face or foot in it before this election is done. It's like, in his ideological make-up. It has to happen. He'll get so desparate, his emotionalbased reactionary modus parry, will stick his own foot.

Another plus is the fact that a whole lot of money was spent by the lefties fighting Arnold's ballot props. Many of their coffers are nearly empty.

The election will not even be close. Neither will it represent the will of the majority

Both candidates are not well liked by their respective political bases. The result will be a popularity contest with some limited influence of blind partisans within each respective camp.

The Democrat hasn't a chance. He's simply unlikable. Politics aside, his weasel like appearance and distinct lack of charisma doomed his candidacy before it was realized.

Those voting for either candidate will be holding their noses but the Austrian will win with ease in this beauty pageant whose target audience is the unwashed. The result will be a plurality governor, distinctly disliked by the majority of the electorate, with no mandate.

"This is very good news! :)"

Why? Both candidates are liberal. Both support more taxation and more government. Both oppose border security and cracking down on illegals. It's like deciding if crack or heroin is worse...

So, in other words, 41% of Californians want to be taxed more? Ugh! Only in California!

The Schwarzenegger team is running brilliant TV ads. Some of the best I have ever seen. They are very subtle and and soft on a certain level, but very effective. And they are going after Angelides on raising taxes, using Steve Westly's quotes :) and overall successfully painting Angelides as someone who will take CA back to the bad old days.

I know this can't be right, because a few months ago some of the left wing big mouths, particularly that creep Lawrence O'Donnell, were predicting that Arnold was guaranteeed to be defeated.

The commies will spend $ 1 billion running ads painting Arnold as a child-molesting Nazi who wants to close all of our schools and fire all police officers, fire fighters, nurses and librarians.
