Agreed. I think a RINO like himself is the closest thing to a Conservative that California will ever allow.

Based on his record the past three years, tell us how so.

Arnold's a liberal but voting for him is a no-brainer. Angelides would literally destroy the state.

"AHHHnold is no conservative but he's light years better than Angelides."

So very true, but one cool thing we get that conservatives normally don't get with a rhino, is that rather than suffering through some dull drab rhino that isn't gaining us anything at all, only keeping a slightly more liberal Dem out of the seat until the next election, we get a bonus.

I think Arnold's charisma and national celebrity and his personal can do attitude, reflects positively on the Republican party in California (for the national guys, remember everything is relative).

I have the feeling that the time he is in office isn't just a period of trying to minimize our losses but that we are making a tiny net gain.

One of the small gains is he humanizes the Republican party to a lot of the crowd that thinks we are Satan or something, people like young single moms, or non-political Hispanics and such, the kind of people that aren't sure what the two parties are, but for eight years see the word Republican and governor next to the movie star "Arnold Schwarzenegger"

There are Republicans in other states that have worse than Arnold, they have all the negatives of a rhino without any positives, at least we get a few positives.

I wonder if Angelides won, and the Dems did another 4 years damage to California, if that might allow a wake-up call to elect Tom McClintock (Good chance at Lieutenant Gov this election) to move in and pick up the job.

Arnold has been a huge disappointment....but I'm still voting for him over that pencil-necked leftist dweeb.
