I wonder if Angelides won, and the Dems did another 4 years damage to California, if that might allow a wake-up call to elect Tom McClintock (Good chance at Lieutenant Gov this election) to move in and pick up the job.

That would be extremely stupid. Think how the socialists operate. They create policies that create problems, and then scapegoat conservatives for the problems they create.

Think about how government involvement in medicine has raised insurance premiums, or how student aid explodes the cost of tuition, or how increases in crime bring calls for more gun control, or how recessions lead to Dems gaining traction on higher taxes so the government can save everyone.

Again, I can't overstate the contempt I have for this kind of thinking.

Here in Illinois it is horrible. Blagojevich as been creating programs left and right he can't pay for with nice sounding names like "All-Kids," and Topinka gets blasted for being meanspirited when she said that people making 60K a year can afford their own damn health care.
