"I guess you must be an Angelides supporter."

That is getting so trite and besides you couldn't possible be more completely incorrect!!!

Choice #1: Vote for the fat headed celebrity nominal Republican who despises conservatives

Choice #2: Vote for the Alfred E. Neuman Greek Geek Democrat who despises conservatives even more

Choice #3: Do not vote for this position, but vote on everything else (that is, if you can't abide choices 1, or 2)

Choice #4: Write in the one person who would really be best for CA, like some actual conservative

Choice #5: Write in someone totally silly and actually waste your vote

Choice #6: Don't vote at all and waste your franchise that Americans have died for (well hey! It's a free country and a secret ballot, right?)

Let me repeat: the choice is Arnold or Angelides.

Any conservative who votest third party or doesn't vote for Arnold for governor IS VOTING FOR ANGELIDES.

PERIOD.

You can try to obfuscate, but it really obvious to anyone, what the choices are: Arnold or Angelides.

If you are not voting for Arnold, you are voting for Angelides.

I personally don't see how any conservative could look at themselves in the mirror, if they help get Angelides elested, who is the antithesis of everything conservatives stand for and will be instrumental in the final destruction of CA, aided by the Dem Legislature.

ANYONE HELPING ANGELIDES GET ELECTED IS NO CONSERVATIVE.

You're thinking of LA Mayor Antonio Villarigosa.

You march to your drummer... I'll march to one who gives me hope for the future of the state! That will NEVER be Arnold Sillyassed Schwartzenrenegger, the smarmy reincarnation of Hiram Johnson and Earl Warren and husband of a Kennedy clan member!!!

You can have him, I don't want him, his head's too fat for me!!!

Arnold's a liberal but voting for him is a no-brainer. Angelides would literally destroy the state.

"AHHHnold is no conservative but he's light years better than Angelides."

So very true, but one cool thing we get that conservatives normally don't get with a rhino, is that rather than suffering through some dull drab rhino that isn't gaining us anything at all, only keeping a slightly more liberal Dem out of the seat until the next election, we get a bonus.

I think Arnold's charisma and national celebrity and his personal can do attitude, reflects positively on the Republican party in California (for the national guys, remember everything is relative).

I have the feeling that the time he is in office isn't just a period of trying to minimize our losses but that we are making a tiny net gain.

One of the small gains is he humanizes the Republican party to a lot of the crowd that thinks we are Satan or something, people like young single moms, or non-political Hispanics and such, the kind of people that aren't sure what the two parties are, but for eight years see the word Republican and governor next to the movie star "Arnold Schwarzenegger"

There are Republicans in other states that have worse than Arnold, they have all the negatives of a rhino without any positives, at least we get a few positives.

Tom McClintock's supporting Arnold. That's good enough for me. He would just keep his mouth shut if he didn't mean it.

"Zogby interactive is legit -- this is not like the polls where anyone can just participate, you have to be invited and can only vote once. This kind of interactive is more reliable than phone polls, because no sensible people ever pick up the phone and talk to a pollster anymore, but they are willing to participate in online polls."

My recollection is that the Zogby Interactive polls were extremely inaccurate in predicting results in the 2004 presidential election. Fortunately they tended to be heavily biased towards Kerry, so that's probably good news for Arnold rather than bad.

Fair, good points all.

You might also add confiscatory gun control to your list for Angelides.

Angelides is a true collectivist who has absolutely no idea where money comes from, and would bankrupt this great state in no time.

And that is a bigger worry than some might think, because of the reverse multiplier effects, the entire country would suffer economically.

It's that big of a deal.

I'm much more of a McClintock conservative; however, I'm a realist. Arnie can win, and he is a darned site better than a romantic far leftist who wants to socially engineer us Californians onto (as Hillary so quaintly puts it) the plantation.

.

Thanks for confirming that you do indeed support the most NOMINAL Republican Governor since Earl Warren, or Hiram Johnson!!!

Click on the link to see another ridiculous snafu that Schwartzenegger has screwed up in addition to trying to slap the Commander in Chief in the face over NG Troops on our border!!!

See why I call him the "fathead celebrity?" You should be chagrinned and ashamed to support such a slavishly stupid public official for the highest office we give to any Californian!!!

Are you having a problem with logic?

If Arnold is defeated, Angelides WINS.

ANYONE WORKING TO DEFEAT ARNOLD IS HELPING ANGELIDES GET ELECTED AND IS NO CONSERVATIVE.

ANGELIDES:
Angelides calls himself a champion of "progressive values." As state treasurer, he has pushed public pension funds to dump tobacco stocks, invest in urban renewal projects and pressure corporations into cleaning up the environment. A close ally of labor, he also supports abortion rights, gay marriage, gun control and driver's licenses for illegal immigrants.

If he makes it into a general-election race, his call for increasing taxes could pose problems; Schwarzenegger has been steadfast in opposing higher taxes.

You are absolutely right. I hope most Californians will realize the truth of your statement and get out and vote for Arnold to make sure Angelides will not have the chance to destroy CA.

You're a real jerk.
Thankfully, you do not reside in CA.

You just troll threads making snarky remarks about the GOP candidates who you deem unworthy.

The democrat is against everything you claim you're for.

And the Teamsters are just crazy about those positions, right? PLUS, he openly supports a tax increase, which shouldn't concern the under-taxed Californians in the least. Dems might as well have nominated Bustamente.
