That is getting so trite and besides you couldn't possible be more completely incorrect!!!
Choice #1: Vote for the fat headed celebrity nominal Republican who despises conservatives
Choice #2: Vote for the Alfred E. Neuman Greek Geek Democrat who despises conservatives even more
Choice #3: Do not vote for this position, but vote on everything else (that is, if you can't abide choices 1, or 2)
Choice #4: Write in the one person who would really be best for CA, like some actual conservative
Choice #5: Write in someone totally silly and actually waste your vote
Choice #6: Don't vote at all and waste your franchise that Americans have died for (well hey! It's a free country and a secret ballot, right?)
Let me repeat: the choice is Arnold or Angelides.
Any conservative who votest third party or doesn't vote for Arnold for governor IS VOTING FOR ANGELIDES.
PERIOD.
You can try to obfuscate, but it really obvious to anyone, what the choices are: Arnold or Angelides.
If you are not voting for Arnold, you are voting for Angelides.
I personally don't see how any conservative could look at themselves in the mirror, if they help get Angelides elested, who is the antithesis of everything conservatives stand for and will be instrumental in the final destruction of CA, aided by the Dem Legislature.
ANYONE HELPING ANGELIDES GET ELECTED IS NO CONSERVATIVE.
Tom McClintock's supporting Arnold. That's good enough for me. He would just keep his mouth shut if he didn't mean it.
I used to write in my own name for President and Governor, but darn it, I never won!
What advances the ball? Won't it be easier to elect a Conservative to your liking if we build on Arnold? To my mind, a Governor like Arnold re-centers the political spectrum. So the Right is further to the Right and the Left is closer to the Center. So the next election will be fought on a field that is more favorable to us.
Of course, there are the people who say that in order to elect a true blue Conservative, you first have to let the Donks completely screw things up, and then get in as a protest candidate. I have never held to that view. Any strategy that starts out by handing a victory to your opponent is a bad strategy in my book.
