Oh my, how sad. Totally, completely, 100% a product of his environment. Perhaps if welfare checks were larger, these types of things wouldn't happen. If I had a girlfriend, I would make sure that she was covered head-to-toe in public, so they wouldn't be offended. I don't want to be responsible for helping to create such a monster, no sir!
Is it just me, or does the press grow increasingly more lame by the day??

The article continues for two more pages on the Globe and Mail website.
Here's a link to the full article.
I don't feel any sympathy for Amara, despite the Globe and Mail's partial attempt to make him seem like a poor, trapped teenager. It's not Canada's fault that he made bad decisions in his life.
To: fanfan
A helpless victim. Now it's perfectly clear. It's all Canada's fault, and perhaps women's fault.
Why didn't he move to a muslim hellhole country???

The press wants us to feel sorry for this Punk, But it is His religion thats to blame, islam leaves no room for Forgiveness or mercy. it is a hard nosed Culture of death and Laws that cant be followed, leading to shame, frustration, and Guilt. causing fanatisim as a way to fix blame on other Religions. it is also easyier to Kill if you can devalue other life.
Islam is a recipe for terrorists.
You cant live in a Western world and follow islam without being caught in the middle, and the Youth are perfect vessels to fill with hate and lies.
it is the priests that are the source.

Well, tolerance is important. We don't want to offend anyone. /sarc
I guess its not surprising why so many convicted murderers 'find' Islam when they are in prison. Forget forgiveness, just find a religion that openly endorses what you did!

As far as I am concerned, it is to the point of being humorous. Their stories on Global Warming™, the Dems, bleeding heart stories about offended muslims or illegal immigrants, etc. hardly upset me anymore, I just laugh at most of it.

Actually, this is a very good assessment of the problem with these people.
These people are savages and cannot expose themselves to the liberties of the western world, such as women dressing in provocative cloth etc.
They cannot control their own demons and therefore they want to force the whole world to conform to their restictions, because they cannot restrict themselves.
If you have ever been to one of these countries you know what I am talking about.

I laugh too, :-),
but then I see what they are getting away with, changing our society.
Is this our fate?
Our children's fate?
Unnngh.

I certainly agree that if we had an objective media, things would be much better off everywhere. Heck, I don't think the 'Rat party would have more than a couple thousand registered members if that were the case!
Thank God for FR.

I've never travelled to the Middle East, though I imagine that some places there are quite interesting.
From what I have read, fundamentally, Islam does not allow followers to live peacefully with us Infidels & openly commands them to kill us. I don't know which 'sects' of Islam believe what, but that is rather scary. If it weren't for that, I really wouldn't have too much of a problem with Islam.
