The smell meter is pinned. I don't see a source for this accusation, and it sounds like some leftist entities want to paint the Israelis as barbaric as the Palestinians.

Get rid of the PM for expediency. He's not any good anyway. Just another pali terrorist troublemaker.
To: West Coast Conservative
The terrorist took official control of running Palestine.
The Terrorist took military actions against Israel on Israeli soil which is an act of war for many nations.
They refuse to remedy the situation acting like a bunch of drama queens telling everyone how they are offended.
They don't get it, they are responsible for what they do officially. They and their leaders are all legitimate targets and they might easily find themselves in a war where they lose and the peace will be dictated by the victors (which would be Israel).

Many of them know that. Hamas is counting on it.

I'm thinking this poor G.I. is already dead or they would have turned him loose by now. If so, the fit will really hit the shan when his body is discovered.

ISRAEL last night threatened to assassinate Palestinian Prime Minister Ismael Haniyeh if Hamas militants did not release a captured Israeli soldier unharmed. Betcha part 2 of the message said, "You are next."

I can't imagine that the Israeli government would make such a threat without meaning it. I would guess that the falafel is passing through some spasdic sphincters at this moment.

Let the Games Begin. I like Israel's style. We should be so politically un-correct.

Now that Arafat is gone, there is nobody with name recognition and friends in high places in this gang. Hold on now! We have yet to hear from the Peanut Farmer.

'"The smell meter is pinned."
Yea, me too. I don't understand the thinking. You have a citizen kidnapped and all the higher-ups get together and decide that they'll kill a hostage if the guy doesn't return unharmed?
Maybe they have some evidence this guy ordered kidnapping or something. I don't know it just sounds nutz to me. I'm as much of a defender of Israel as anyone but I can't see this. I call BS. If not though this is going to be interesting to watch at least.

The infinitesimal amount of sympathy I had for these folks evaporated when they elected these animals to govern them. They are now experiencing the consequences of voting for the "wrong guys".
War is hell, Palis. You brought this on yourselves and are now being forced to sleep in the dirty bed you made. You had your choice. You chose poorly.

elected head of state?
How can that be? When was the State of Palestine declared? Is it contained within an area defined by borders with neighboring states?

It's my understanding that Israel does not have the Hamas PM in custody. They are not threatening to kill a prisoner, but assassinate the sitting head of an enemy government.

Yeah, no kidding. That about sums it up. :-)

They might have a state and they might have a nation, but they don't have a country unless the country is recognized by other countries. One might ask where the other countries came from, or one might not bother.

Israel is no longer going to accept a constant state of terrorism.Which is why many settlers have been removed and the wall is being constructed. What some thought was a display of weakness is merely the establishment of battle lines. The battle has now been enjoined. One should not think that the eventuality of Arafat's death was not given much thought.

Israeli shelling of
"open spaces" and sonic booms are nothing compared to being bombarded daily with kassams by the so-called "palestinians."

In Gaza, terrorist Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh
gestures about the size of some part of his brain or body
to the fawning press.
