The smell meter is pinned. I don't see a source for this accusation, and it sounds like some leftist entities want to paint the Israelis as barbaric as the Palestinians.

Yea, me too. I don't understand the thinking. You have a citizen kidnapped and all the higher-ups get together and decide that they'll kill a hostage if the guy doesn't return unharmed?

Maybe they have some evidence this guy ordered kidnapping or something. I don't know it just sounds nutz to me. I'm as much of a defender of Israel as anyone but I can't see this. I call BS. If not though this is going to be interesting to watch at least.

Here's that earlier thread (June 28) I mentioned in my other post which appears to have quotes taken directly from a Jerusalem Post article.

Incredibly, however, the JPost article itself still mentions the assassination but seems to have been "updated" since its original publication.
