Your analysis of this extremely muddled case is quite good. If it were politically palatable, I would tell the majority of the Supreme Court that they know where they can get off. If this is truly a decision NOT worthy of respect, this is one of them. I think the President SHOULD rule that this decision of the Supreme Court is an unconstitutional intrusion into the Executive authority and its own jurisdiction. He won't...hopefully the Senate won't filibuster correcting legislation, but this case in its reliance on GENEVA(!) is breathtaking in its overreaching.

The Democrats NEVER wanted to be unified. They were FORCED to it by the poll results. As soon as they could after 9-11 they went back to their Hate Bush Always dogma.
