NEW YORK (AP) -- Warren Buffett's new philanthropic alliance with fellow billionaire Bill Gates won widespread praise this week, but anti-abortion activists did not join in, instead assailing the two donors for their longtime support of Planned Parenthood and international birth-control programs.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, to which Buffett has pledged the bulk of his $44-billion fortune, devotes the vast majority of its funding to combating disease and poverty in developing countries. Less than 1 percent has gone to Planned Parenthood over the years. And the Gates Foundation does not permit its gifts to Planned Parenthood to be used for abortion services.
"The merger of Gates and Buffett may spell doom for the families of the developing world," said the Rev. Thomas Euteneuer, a Roman Catholic priest who is president of Human Life International.
Referring to Josef Mengele, the infamous Nazi death camp doctor, Euteneuer said Buffett "will be known as the Dr. Mengele of philanthropy unless he repents."
The Planned Parenthood Federation of America issued statements praising Buffett and Gates for their generosity. Gloria Feldt, a former Planned Parenthood president, said she was appalled by the harsh attacks on them.
"What an outrage that these people have

How thoughtful of CNN to help us understand how foolish the worries of anti-abortion people are!

Less than 1 percent has gone to Planned Parenthood over the years. I love the way the leftists at CNN try to spin this. One percent of tens of BILLIONS is still a huge sum of money.

And the Gates Foundation does not permit its gifts to Planned Parenthood to be used for abortion services. They don't have to, any money automatically frees up money to be used for those purposes.

It doesn't matter if the Gates don't allow money to be used for the abortion procedure - when you donate to Planned Parenthood in any capacity it just frees up money in other areas of their budget so that they can still spend more on abortion related services.
While the Gates and Buffet money will do lots of good, much of it is also being put in dangerous hands.

This Gloria Feldt person, former obergrupenfuhrer of Planned Parenthood expressed disgust that Right to Life people would think they even had the right to dare criticize super-rich killers such as Warren Buffet and his little friend, Bill Gates.
Of course, she's biased ~ she likes the killers, their money, and the pursuit of the prey as well eh?!

It makes me sick to my stomach when Jews are so pro-abortion. If any group should be pro-life, it shoul d be Jews.
Is Buffet or Gates Jewish? What are they??

That's still about $50,000,000 too much, isn't it?

Melinda Gates is Catholic. You should see the state of the art church she attends in Bellevue WA. They serve low-carb communion wafers, JK.

And the Gates Foundation does not permit its gifts to Planned Parenthood to be used for abortion services. The Gates Foundation website specifically states it funds abortion services:

>>>And the Gates Foundation does not permit its gifts to Planned Parenthood to be used for abortion services.<<<
How does CNN know this? Is this statement a quote? By whom?
It is just appalling how the media can tell an outrageous lie like this one and nobody questions it. They get more brazen by the day.
The Gates/Buffett merger is a very bad thing. Creepy Gate's interview about his Dad's tenure at Planned Parenthood was put up on FR yesterday. It gave me a cold feeling in my stomach. AIDS and Planned Parenthood. These are the bulwark issues for feminists. Domestic violence is making the rounds again, too. Anything to make the men into evil subhumans that are not necessary. This "foundation" is going to be the very foundation of the next Axis of Evil...COMMUNISM FEMINISM HOMOSEXUAL AGENDA.
This "philanthropy" sure isn't Carnegie Hall, a place of incredible beauty that inspired incredible beauty.
G/B is something for something called "the masses".

99% goes to fight disease and poverty. Oh, sure.
But they neglect to mention that pregnancy is universally considered to be a disease by family planners and other babykillers, and that these people also argue that the surest cure for poverty is abortion.
