Boy is this going to be fun. The Leftists in the Junk Media are all missing the trap. The Court said the President could not order Tribunals but the CONGRESS can authorize it. So after they get themselves all worked up, I suggest the Congressional Leaders offer up Legislation. Lets see the Leftist politicians try to straddle this dilemma.

Ping for later. And please do me a favor, Johnnie. If I don't check back in here, please let me know if Rush discusses Larry Bailey and the Vets for the Truth (VFTT) officially engaging Jack Murtha's treasonous behavior. Thanks!

Saw Lindsey Graham on Fox. It seems he may actually get this one right.

You're right and I'm not terribly upset by the decision as I think Congress will take care of it and Republicans will take care of Democrats who will show their true sympathies lie with the jihadists.

A commentator on CNBC (I think from the Wall Street Journal) made an interesting point that this could actually be bad news for the democrats because now they are going to sent the tribunal question to Congress and the Dems don't want to appear soft on National Defense right before the upcoming elections so the Dems are boxed in. Do they go against Bush and protect al qaeda - alienating the voters or do they give Bush a victory?
Interesting

Linsey Graham said he will do just that. We'll now see the terrorist defense council, otherwise known as the democrat party, try to stop us from prosecuting them.

Johnnie, that is exactly right---this, moreover, provides an INCREDIBLE election year trap. The "moderates" will HAVE to vote for it, and Dems who don't will be in trouble back home.
But also it doesn't say we can't HOLD these guys. We can HOLD them for-freaking-ever.

Good take on this! This is also a glaring example of why we need to maintain control of the government by Republicans (the more conservative, the better!)

What I enjoyed was the E-Mail to Rush. To rework it here is what Duncy Pelosi said:
