A good job of driving out the competition? What competition? In most rural areas there are now MORE alternatives BECAUSE of WalMart. When WalMart doesn't have something I'm looking for I am referred to a local business for it....the small businesses LOVE all the new business they have gotten because of WalMart, and the hardware store and lumber yard owners owners around here are THRILLED that Lowe's openned yesterday, they have been waiting for it for more than 2 years. The only outfit unhappy about Lowe's openning is 84 Lumber.
