A group of 50 pro-Israel Christian tourists came under attack Wednesday from some 100 residents of the ultra-Orthodox neighborhood of Mea She'arim in Jerusalem. Three of the tourists and a police officer were wounded in the attack. They received treatment at the scene. The tourists arrived at Mea She'arim wearing orange T-shirts with the words "Love your neighbor as yourself" printed across them. As they neared one of the squares, the local residents apparently identified them as Christians and began to hit them. Police forces in the area stepped in to stop the violence, but did not make any arrests. Police say they are waiting for the tourists to file official complaints.

See, there is that rotted brain thinking again.
What ever happened happened because of what those Christians were doing, not because they are Christians.
"These themes are repeated myriad times through the New Testament."
That is true. The Apostle Paul got run out of synagogues and towns all the time. He was preaching, but I don't think he was violating community norms like dress codes.
What illegal war are you talking about?
I wish that I had more time tonight.
There are portions of your post that are also likely pretty offensive to some.
Christians who don't baptize their children?
I know that you won't try, that is good, because you can't produce any verse in the Bible (OT or NT) that even remotely suggests the baptizing of children as an imperative.
I'd like to see people just follow the Ten Commandments and stop annoying the crap out of their neighbor.
Sorry. I thought for a moment that you were a KOS troll.
That has to qualify as one of the most asshole comments that I have ever read on this forum.
All of my ugly stuff has been deleted.
You are unbelievably ignorant if you actually bought into that nonsense report last week.
I did not say that.
I'm very, very Christian. I don't like people who beat other people over the head with the Bible. Man does not convert, only God converts.
Didn't see you on this thread, felt sure you'd want to join in:

Huh, JeffersonRepublic.com seems to be gone. Zionist conspiracy no doubt.
:sigh:
That reminds me of my first date with the woman who became the love of my life, so far. She was wearing a light sweater with a high collar, but she had a Star of David necklace rather prominently sticking out of it. She wasn't observant, but she wanted me to know right up front. I thought it was charming. :)
My family was Jewish but my Grandpa turned his back on it. They never told me, I found out for sure a few years ago doing research. I was raised to love and respect Jewish folks - I could never understand anti-semitism. I've always adored Israel as far back as I can remember. It hurts me when I think they aren't defending themselves.
That reminds me of the lovely t-shirts in my home state that say "F*** You, We're From TEXAS."
I'm not advocating infant baptism nor am I saying it is "scriptural." I'm a Noachide, not a chr*stian. I'm trying to make a point to people who think that religion is a subjective ethnoculture that people are born into and no one has a right to try to convert anyone else.
Most non-Fundamentalist chr*stians assume that all chr*stians baptize their children and bring them up "as chr*stians." They've never heard of universal depravity. And they certainly don't understand the concept of an Objective G-d making demands of everyone, regardless of what his or her "heritage" might be.
I'm telling these people that chr*stian Fundamentalists feel obliged by G-d Himself to convert everyone (not just "minorities" or people who are "different") and they are so consistent that they insist that their children think for themselves and make a personal decision to be a chr*stian (so much for Fundamentalist chr*stians "not thinking;" show me any Catholic with as much confidence in his beliefs!).
I don't know how you construed my post as an endorsement of infant baptism or how you will construe this one. I can only do my best.
This can't really be true, can it?
