Well, cross my legs and call me mama...
It IS pretty amazing. Our family's achievement does not come close, but my dad, my sister, and my nephew all have the same birthday, July 16.
Or chalk it up to probablility which is the most likely culprit.
They probably all spent a night at the Holiday Inn.
My youngest son and his paternal grandmother share the same birthday.
If they were of Mexican ancestry, it might could be chalked up to too much partying on the "September 16 Mexican Independence" celebrations.
Amazing! The odds of this happening are astronomical, I bet. Any math geniuses out there who can give the odds on this?
BTW, I share a birthday with my mother, my great-aunt, and two first cousins. My second son was born 11 hours shy of sharing a birthday with us. I don't think my OB/GYN has gotten over the disappointment yet.
Regards,
I share the same birthday with my twin brother. And, my twin sons share the same birthday. (okay, not so odd, is it?)
My 3 sons were born on 5/12, 5/31 and 7/17. Our good friends in Indianapolis have 3 daughters born on 5/12, 5/31 and 7/17.
Wow that's pretty cool!
In my family - All three of my grandma & grandpa's daughters were pregnant at the same time. All three had GIRLS in the month of March, 1974, THREE weeks apart! (I was born in the middle) ;) As you can imagine, we have lots of pictures and old home movies of us three as newborns all behing held (at the same time) by various family members. :)
In our family, three cousins share the same birthday, each birthday 12 years after the other.
bump for later
My sister and her son share her birthday(and her daughter 1 day before). My Mother shared her Mother's birthday. I share mine with George H.W. Bush.
This reminds me of a similar story in Anacostia, except they were all 13 years apart.
My two sons were born on the same date three years apart. It's also their paternal grandfathers birthday.
