HuH? This article is in no way barf-worthy. It's pretty good.
Okay, a "barf alert" is when you post an article that is blatantly leftist. From wikipedia:
Free Republic, like many politically oriented sites, does not seek to be a board that represents all political viewpoints: it is a meeting point for those to the right of the political center in America, and articles posted which contain unwelcome reports or views (usually liberal) are customarily ridiculed and tagged with the words BARF ALERT after the headline. The "BARF ALERT" has two purposes: to warn readers in advance of news or opinion articles running counter to the prevailing perspective of the site's intended audience, and to protect the poster by distancing him- or herself from those views or news reports.
The smell must be aweful!
What's he complaining about? Carlos gets his Koran and he even got to marry his sweetie in jail. She was originally his attorney and she converted to Islam to marry him; the French govt was very obliging about the whole thing.
I believe Hugo Chavez even got to visit Carlos in jail after Hugo was "elected" dictator. The two correspond, and Hugo has mentioned carrying one of Carlos' letters with him for inspiration. Sounds like Carlos is doing just fine.
Jerry Lewis as the Jackal! Still working on how to fit Dépardieu into the script. But running low on cheap brandy and Gauloises, need a backer. Toute de Suite!
I'm stunned to know he's still alive. What I'm even more stunned about is his ability to be heard from. Don't they have maximum security prisons over there where you just go away? No one comes in and you never get out, you know, that kind? If half of what he is supposed to have done is true, he needs to be "away" for a long, long time as in FOR-EV-ER.
Il n'y a pas d'honte être français. Il y a seulement l'honte dans rester de français.
(There is no shame in being French. There is only shame in staying French.)
