Tax-cut advocate Grover Norquist has labeled Senator John McCain, and his report last week on a $50,000 contribution by the Choctaw Indian tribe to Norquist's Americans for Tax Relief, "dishonest."
In an interview with NewsMax, Norquist also accused McCain of "lying" about ATR's role in the matter and suggested McCain's report is nothing more than political payback. Norquist said McCain has claimed to others that Norquist and Ralph Reed engineered his defeat in the heated 2000 South Carolina presidential primary that pitted the senator against George Bush. Andrea Jones, McCain's press secretary, did not respond to requests seeking comment.

McCain has to be one of the best Democrats I have ever seen.
I think it would be cool if Norquist and McCain would have a duel one day.

McCain despises conservatives. That's all. Were I an AZ voter, I would rather vote for a horses ass than this puke.

Conservatives dispise RINOs (Republican In Name Only). The trouble is, you sometimes would rather deal with a RINO then a Jackass. And because RINOs want to be Elephants, there is the problem with RINOs making Elephants look bad. Elephants are very territorial and we don't like RINOs on our turf. We need to take the RINOs out in the primary elections. It must be done then, otherwise you only have a choice of a RINO or a Jackass. And that is not a real choice.

You take the lesser of two evils. The more conservative one should win regardless of Political affiliation. Unfortunately, the leadership in the Dem party almost everywhere is leaning so heavily liberal you couldn't find a conservative Democrat if you tried. Zel Miller was the last of a dying breed.

Yep, but there is Joe Lieberman. And he may not win. He may have to go Independant.
Zel was cool. I thought Zel was going to take Chris Mathew's hardball and load it in his pistol and then start pacing off steps.

Which is the more inclusive party Democrat or Republican?
I've never heard from a "pro-life" Democrat or an "anti-tax" Democrat.
The Democratic Party has gone so far to the left that even one of their icons can be considered right-wing.
JFK; asking not what your country can do for you.

I may not agree with Rudy Guiliani on much, but if it comes down to a race between Guiliani and John McCain, I'm voting for Rudy!
If you're looking for the best definition for fraud, take a long look at John McCain.

I'll do better than that. McLame is a liar of the worst kind.

Grover Norquist seems to be in the Abramoff scandal up to his eyeballs. He should be toxic to any conservative.
To: perfect stranger
Actually JFK, IMO, was not all that conservative. He was definitely in favor of increasing governments control of business and society through regulation and social programs. He wasn't a bad president and was VERY CONSERVATIVE for a Dem, but still leaned left, IMO.
