MIAMI, June 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Roy Black, Rush Limbaugh's attorney, issued the following statement today in response to several inquiries by the media:
While going through routine Customs inspection of luggage at Palm Beach International Airport upon his return from an international trip, Rush Limbaugh was detained by customs agents after they noticed a non-narcotic prescription drug, which had been prescribed by Mr. Limbaugh's treating physician but labeled as being issued to the physician rather than Mr. Limbaugh for privacy purposes. After a brief interview, Mr. Limbaugh was permitted to continue on his journey.
"Well, I coulda been an actor, but I wound up here
I just have to look good, I dont have to be clear
Come and whisper in my ear
Give us dirty laundry!"
Is it illegal in Florida for a doctor to give prescription drugs to a patient? It isn't in Arizona or California, which is why I ask.
I wonder what the ethics say about a physican that would issue a script for someone and use a false name in place of the person for whom the script is for?..
I can't believe that this information getting out (his use of Viagra) is not a violation of the Hipaa Laws.
Somebody needs to be sued.
Go back to DU, troll.
Tell that to Billy Dale.
Here in California it isn't. I have gotten medicines from my doctor in the past.
Orange jump suit with a tent pole placemarker.
It is a violation -- if it comes from a doctor, nurse, etc., coming from customs probably not, but then customs should be working under other guidelines where this information isnt' released.
I'd cuddle up with Rush in a New York minute. Lots of people see the heart and mind and the body doesn't matter.
BTW - I do a lot of business travel. I take two meds (prescribed)and pour them both in the same bottle to save space in my shave kit. That would make me a felon too, by this standard.
If anything this will increase Rush's listener base tomorrow LOL.. just waiting for his take on it, which I'm sure will be comedic.
He probably gets more than you do.
Do I smell a troll on your post?
Hopefully the penalties won't be very stiff.
