MIAMI, June 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Roy Black, Rush Limbaugh's attorney, issued the following statement today in response to several inquiries by the media:
While going through routine Customs inspection of luggage at Palm Beach International Airport upon his return from an international trip, Rush Limbaugh was detained by customs agents after they noticed a non-narcotic prescription drug, which had been prescribed by Mr. Limbaugh's treating physician but labeled as being issued to the physician rather than Mr. Limbaugh for privacy purposes. After a brief interview, Mr. Limbaugh was permitted to continue on his journey.

If the law is simple, what law did Rush violate and how did he violate it?

If the law is simple, what law did Rush violate and how did he violate it? You don't carry prescription medicine not made out to you...and if you're smart, you carry a copy of the prescription if you're going out of the country.
It's on every "travel for dummies" website out there.

I've had that happen. Once I was pulled over for going 45 on a two-lane road at night, in the rain (I was in a Corvette.) The cop thought I must have been drunk as I was driving rather slow for a Covette. I pointed out that it was raining; he just said, "OK, drive carefully," and let me go.

What does he eat up the oxy or the Viagra? I guess he got his talent on loan from God, and got his erection on loan from Viagra.

You haven't cited a law. You have cited an opinion.
What law did he violate and how did he violate it?
Start with the federal and Florida criminal statutes and indentify which laws appear to apply. When you have done that, break each offense into its elements and do a proof analysis with available evidence.
I've already done it.
Your turn.

No, the doctor used his own name for the prescription, intending to give it to Rush. Considering all the crap Rush had been through with the media, I'm sure the Doc thought he was doing Rush a favor by not attaching his name publicly to the prescription.

This smells of a setup....a prominent man like RL, returns from abroad, in his private jet, I doubt that 1 in 10000 are searched....and RL, makes 26 Million per year, he can afford to buy anything he wants, he sure as hell don't have to smuggle anything.

He was so happy to go hang with the "24" crowd. I bet he's dropped like a hot potato now. Hollywood is Hollywood. Uh, did you know that Rush was WITH THE 24 CROWD on his trip? I dont think they will be dumping him, since they were with him and saw everything.
