MIAMI, June 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Roy Black, Rush Limbaugh's attorney, issued the following statement today in response to several inquiries by the media:
While going through routine Customs inspection of luggage at Palm Beach International Airport upon his return from an international trip, Rush Limbaugh was detained by customs agents after they noticed a non-narcotic prescription drug, which had been prescribed by Mr. Limbaugh's treating physician but labeled as being issued to the physician rather than Mr. Limbaugh for privacy purposes. After a brief interview, Mr. Limbaugh was permitted to continue on his journey.

LOL! I started to write a letter to the NY Times the other night. It began very well. As it went on, however, my emotions took over. By the time I was done I reread it and said I can't send this, it is loaded with profanities. I never use profanities. The media just brings out the best/worst in people doesn't it? :0)

The Sheriffs department just violated Rush's rights under Hipaa for disclosing the medication after they had information that a doctor had prescribed the drug regardless who's name was on the bottle. HIPAA is only good for making patients fill out a lot of extra paperwork during medical visits. The government can grab all the private information they want and trumpet it for political purposes all they want.
I think they should take every one of those Customs officers at that location, make them stand in cold water for an hour, then publish naked pictures of them on Rush's website.

The bottle should reflect the name that's written by the MD on the script. Pharmacists are usually fairly stringent about having names and addresses of the person on the script.
It seems an odd thing, but I suppose mega-celebrities have to do extraordinary things for privacy.
A Hollyweird celebrity could to this and nobody would give it a second glance.

For some reason, Rush must remind Waterloo of a drunk uncle who did horrible things to him. Needs prayer (since I can't give a beatdown).

The bottle should reflect the name that's written by the MD on the script. Pharmacists are usually fairly stringent about having names and addresses of the person on the script. You're assuming Rush had the prescription filled by a pharmacist. More likely it was dispensed directly to him by his physician.

ICE can find a small bottle of Viagra but can't find 12 million illegals.
I guess this is to teach Rush to lay off the anti-amnesty pitch.
