(CBS4 News) WEST PALM BEACH Sources have confirmed to CBS4 News that conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh has been detained at Palm Beach International Airport for the possible possession of illegal prescription drugs Monday evening.

Limbaugh was returning on a flight from the Dominican Republic when officials found the drugs, among them Viagra.

Limbaugh entered a plea deal back in April in a previous case where his charge of fraud to conceal information to obtain prescriptions was dropped under the condition he continue undergoing treatment for addiction.

Limbaugh had admitted to being addicted to pain killers on his radio program and had entered a rehabilitation program prior to that arrest.

Someone above said viagra is for "mild pain". As far as I know it is only for ED, which is also a side-effect of diabetes.

Is it good for anything other than ED? (other than putting another guest host behind the golden EIB microphone tomororow - The guy today had Ed Messe, Ann Coulter, Mark Steyn - great show).

YES! I have some at home -- my Dr. always gives me free samples to test.

If you don't have a prescription for it, it's illegal.

Don't know for sure, but I doubt it is a Schedule 1(?) controlled substance like narcotic drugs. Probably illegal to sell without a prescription but not illegal to posses or use. It's like taking someone elses blood pressure pills. And with Viagra, doctors give out free samples to patients without scrips all the time.

Again. in the People's Republic of Palm Beach County, there are people who's only job is catch Limbaugh doing anything and then issue press releases.

BTW. I wonder if his vacation was at the Hedonism resort in the Dominican and if so, why he came back with any little purple pills. ;~))
