"...There you have it, country music fans, straight from the horse‘s mouth..."

Wrong end.

I'm not into country & western music anyway, but a local C & W station manager did an interview for a local TV show.

When asked why he wasn't playing the Dixie Chicks' music, he said they did a poll. He said that the Dixie Chicks didn't come out NEAR the bottom. They came out AT THE BOTTOM by a wide margin.

He said, "If my listeners don't want to hear the Dixie Chicks' music, I won't play it. It's just that simple."

They are so over. Yet the MSM wants to keep propping them up like Bernie in 'Weekend at Bernies'.

It doesn't surprise me that these little has beens won't say they are sorry..Sorry isn't in a filthy liberal vocabulary..As for Reba saying what she did well I have seen old Reba in action..What a piece of work..Rude to fans and thinks she is so great..I saw her say some very unkind words to a guy in a wheel chair at a thing in Austin..so after that I had no respect for her at all..I never knew she was a liberal kiss up before this year..

____________

Brit Libs: "sophiticated and enlightened"

Yeah.

The left explained Paula Jones as the result when you drag a $100 bill through a trailer park.

I explain this as what happens when you drag a recording contract through the Belle Meade/Brentwood/Mt. Juliet area these days.

Note to the Chicks; Merle and Willie already have the political left pretty well covered and they don't need YOUR help.

Talking about Dixie, I got an elbow in my short ribs by my girlfriend, a pop on the top of my head by my SIL and a dirty look from my Niece In Law while my brother and nephew were LOL.
They visited me in New Orleans and I had hired one of the sightseeing wagon in the french quarter.

I was feeling good so I started singing "Oh, I wish I was in Dixie".

After I stated singing and getting put upon by the Women, I noticed a very well endowed young woman walking on the street wearing a Dixie beer Tee shirt.

These bimbos will unapologetically badmouth a sitting president on foreign soil.

But they can't apologize fast enough when they run afoul of the dim bulbs on The View.

Glad to see they have their priorities straight. < /sarc >

“I’d rather have a smaller following of really cool people who get it, who will grow with us as we grow and are fans for life, than people that have us in their five-disc changer with Reba McEntire and Toby Keith. We don’t want those kinds of fans. They limit what you can do.”

In other words, stick it in your ear all you Reba and Toby lovers. The Chicks are leaving all you white trash, country bumpkin losers behind — and saying good riddance while they’re at it. They’re movin’ on up...

Ahhhh, if only it was 1968 and their dreams of the coffeehouse crowd was true... The new reality? The Blue State people think they're too good for the "Dixie Chicks". The Chicks will never be accepted by what's left of the coffeehouse people, they're waaaay too cool for anything with the name "dixie" in it. Wow, what a joke that would be...

And the Red States? If the chicks think they're too good for us, we don't want them either. Fill a stadium with that, Chicks... Good luck.

Ironic that the Dixie Chicks can't play in Dixie.

I took all three of their first CD's to our annual gravel pit shoot-out this weekend. You shooters know what those are - when you bring all kinds of fun stuff to shoot at.
I had a nice grouping of three out of the five shots fired in their "Fly" CD. If I can figure out how to post a picture of it, I will. Funny thing is I thought the bullets (9mm) would shatter the CD, but they made nice clean holes.

I bought the CD's when I was once a fan of theirs. They should of kept their mouths shut and just sing, but -noooooo.

Gnatalie Maines, lead "spokesperson" for the Ditzy Twits is doing all she can to wreck whatever passes for their careers.

No big loss, IMO.
