I'm not into country & western music anyway, but a local C & W station manager did an interview for a local TV show.
When asked why he wasn't playing the Dixie Chicks' music, he said they did a poll. He said that the Dixie Chicks didn't come out NEAR the bottom. They came out AT THE BOTTOM by a wide margin.
He said, "If my listeners don't want to hear the Dixie Chicks' music, I won't play it. It's just that simple."
They are so over. Yet the MSM wants to keep propping them up like Bernie in 'Weekend at Bernies'.
I wish nothing but bad things for these girls. I reserve this for a select few.
I cannot figure out which is bigger...their arrogance or their stupidity.
I wonder how many years until leftists figure out that nobody buys their victimology anymore.
They're not going to scream racist/bigot/homophobe, assume that anyone cares, and then get to run the show. Neither are they going to make obnoxious comments and then cry for the rest of their lives that they are abused and deserve sympathy.

I heard that Maines is married to an Arab, which might fit in with her regard for America.
They forget that fans usually "like" the stars they support. When you no longer "like" a star, the support drops.
Who now "likes" and respects the "Dixie Chicks"? Not me - I am ashamed they are from Texas. We usually grow them with a ton more class than they show.

It doesn't surprise me that these little has beens won't say they are sorry..Sorry isn't in a filthy liberal vocabulary..As for Reba saying what she did well I have seen old Reba in action..What a piece of work..Rude to fans and thinks she is so great..I saw her say some very unkind words to a guy in a wheel chair at a thing in Austin..so after that I had no respect for her at all..I never knew she was a liberal kiss up before this year..
If you're alluding to album sales, that's true. Their current album is supposedly selling well.
However, concert sales are anemic and the Dhimmi Chix have had to flee north to Canada to make up for it.
