We were there!!!

We "prepped" the cars before they got to the much larger crowd of supporters. We were on the island at the end...just before the Patriotic Truck.

We were so honored to be there in support of our fine troops and to meet the Grand Dad you saw in the video. What a really nice man!

The history of the Marine Corps Emblem is untarnished and has remained so during all wars and conflicts where she was worn or flew. To use an emblem sacred to those who are willing to lay down their life for our nation is beyond reproach. To use that emblem against men who have not been charged with a crime in an attempt to convict them without due process of law, well there are no words printable that could be said.

It was so rewarding to meet the Grandfather of one of the guys. He was so nice and it brought us to tears hearing him say thank you. It is one of the most rewarding days I've spent. When you're there, you feel like you're giving back to our fine heroes. How do we ever adequately thank them for their sacrifices??? How do we sit by and watch them being treated this way???

We were on the cement island last Saturday. There were hundreds of people there last Saturday (10 AM ----> 3) and the North County Times reported the attendance as "dozens." Soooo typical of the news media.
