I'm a tryin' to get there!

I saw nothing on local news in Los Angeles.

But the video shows hundreds of patriots!

We were there again, yesterday...but had to do a few errands first. I got there (to the island spot) by about 1:30 PM and my husband took his motorcycle and got there a little after me.

We like to thank the guys for their service, while they read all our signs and honk their horns. I had one lady, riding as a passenger, tear up for our doing so. I like to say, "Thank you for making the world a better place!"

AND...then there was this one Marine on a motorcycle - electric blue, with a Marine symbol/crest on the tank of his bike. He was EVERYTHING you would think of if you were to cast a commercial for the perfect Marine--from the way he looked - to how he carried himself--so stately and strong. He got off his bike, opened his saddlebags, and got out this brand new, perfectly rounded rimed Marine Corps baseball hat, AND GAVE IT TO ME!!! I came around the bike and hugged him. That made my eyes well up. These guys reflect everything wonderful and strong about the American spirit. We are so blessed to have them protecting us.

Wow - what a day!!!

P.S. I don't even think my 101st Army Ranger (Bronze Star) brother would mind me wearing THIS hat! I'm beaming with pride thinking about the moment of his gift, even now.

GOD BLESS OUR FANTASTIC MILITARY!!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!! GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.
