June 25, 2006 -- A Brooklyn anesthesiologist callously ditched his wife and three kids, leaving them homeless after he secretly sold their house and fled the country with all their money, the wife alleges. Dr. Raihan Chowdhury was deemed a fugitive Wednesday for ignoring repeated court orders to provide for his hapless family.
His wife, Sharmin Sultana, who gave up her career as a gynecologist to become a full-time mom, is now broke and staying at a women's shelter with the couple's two daughters and toddler son.
All while her husband lives in luxury in his native Bangladesh, possibly having remarried without getting a divorce here, according to her divorce documents and her lawyer's statements in Brooklyn Family Court.

Yep, there was a couple I knew where the wife did this. They both worked at the same company. She took vacation time and each day off she planned her move.
She racked up the credit cards to the max
She clean out all the bank accounts
She set herself up in a new apartment
And on the last day of her vacation when he came home from work, he found only a note.

There are crappy women, and there are crappy men. Since conservatives don't usually believe in entitlement, we are usually the ones who get screwed in a divorce.

Exactly what I was thinking. A man does the same thing that millions of women have done and there are howls of protest.
It is under American divorce and custody laws. Women in America have the same rights as men in a Muslim society.
He took his lousy, stinking, 12th century Muzzie carcass and went back to Bangladesh without dragging her along. So, in a way, he did her a favor... though he did his best to stick it to her on his way out.
She will eventually land on her own two feet, continue her career as a gynocologist, and hopefully marry a decent American man (a real man). She didn't need that piece of crap savage anyway.

But the law is an ass in that it prefers female asses, and really, who doesn't?

Non-Muslims who leave Bangladesh tend to not want to go back there.

You might as well talk to a wall as try to reason with the bitter divorced male contingent here.
You should have stopped at "there are crappy women, and there are crappy men" because that's true. But the bitterness on this thread is exactly that... a sense of entitlement they feel was violated. It's not true, but it does make the ranting embittered feel better to take out all their misogynist aggression on the forum.

He wasn't Muslim, though... they met in a Baptist church. Was more like the culture of his country was to cheat "rich" Americans and treat women like disposable objects.
She spent a lot of money trying to get her children back but still hasn't seen them for 12 years.
